Getting PCBs made

I've started to think about getting some PCBs made. It's cheap (now) and a hell of a lot neater and accurate than my vero board work  not to mention that it saves a lot of time!

I've been told the factory needs the design to be made on Pro Tel. Fine. I got a lite version and started to play. Now the schematic side is ok, got my head around that. Actually, it's fun, but the step from schematic to PCB...

Is it worth it? I'm sure given time (a lot) i might come to terms with it but considering i only make a couple of fuzzies i don't know if it is such a good idea. It does seem to be a good learning tool also though.

Anyone used it? Is it as daunting as it seems?

Cheers

www.expresspcb.com I use them extensively, both in my personal products, and professional. The software is easy to use, and it is great for prototypes and small projects. Plus, they do quality work.
