Are there any "boutique" builders in Houston?

I'm thinking maybe I can learn a thing or two as a solder-monkey :?: I'm an absolute newb, trying to draw a circuit from a photo of a Rangemaster. For a handful of caps, resistors, and a single transistor, my head's spinning plenty :oops:
