Great stuff! I once asked Rudi Protrudi what fuzz he used on the Lysergic Emanations record, and he couldn't remember. Vox Phantom and Vox Viscount amp, but no recall on the fuzz!! These guys have been one of my favorite bands since I first heard em in 1986. I think a fuzzrite (or clone), sinei superfuzz (or similar), maestro fuzztone (obviously) or for me analogman peppermint fuzz will do the job great. These cats are fuzztastic!

I have the Ashbass Fuzzbrite, and it is tons a fun. I was lucky enough to hang out with Rudi on several occasions, and Deb Onair the sultry organ player once or twice. For an 80's garage nut like myself, it was like hangin with my idols! Good folks.

I played in a 60's garage band and never really was fan of the Fuzztones but then my tastes ran more towrads the British side of things. The Ashbass Fuzzbrite can get you there as can the Yardbox and possibly the Voodoo Lab Superfuzz. Take a look also at the Death by Audio "Fuzz War".

Oh, when using a fuzzbox alnog the lines of the Fuzzbrite or Yardbox, use those non-alkaline 9 volt batteries only.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Garage Rock Revival, Revival!

Everyone I know that has at least a tiny sense of taste loves garage rock, but no one wants to play it anymore. What is it too simple, too good, too unpretentious?

Anyway I'm off to practice some Cramps songs!

Practice some cramps songs!! That's how I learned how to play guitar. Ivy uses a Univox Superfuzz. I use a GS Wyllie Rising Sun fuzz for those wonderful Cramps fuzz tones.

Garage is out of 'style'?

I never knew...A home made Super-Fuzz, full hollow Ibanez, some 'verb and trem and i'm off. Love it.

I probably touch on the Cramps at least once a day. Awesome stuff.

imsilly, garage is better when it is not popular, then you can find the rarer and better albums for cheaper, and not compete with guys who were listenin to fallout boy, blink 182 or the strokes a year ago! Brad, hope you enjoy the Fuzzbrite, give us a quick review when you get it.
