I did a small mod on my Ibanez Soundtank ts-5. Changed R34 and C4. Sounds good, the problem is that as soon as the unit is powered it comes on and will not turn off. Soldering looks OK, no unplanned connections. I guess it could be the switch, but I don't know how to check this.
Thanks,
Artie.

Hmm...wasn't sure if I still had a schematic for the 5, but lo and behold I do, but it's a crumpled napkin sort of hand drawn thing...
...Anyhow, changing R34 (assuming you dropped it to approximate the "brown" mod) is a pretty standard and good call.
But C4 is part of the bypass/flip-flop circuit. Maybe you intended to change a different cap in the circuit? Anyways - C4 and C5 need to match to have symmetry on the bypassing circuit. The stock value of .001uF (on both) is fine.
Your switch s/b fine.
What was the cap change supposed to do? What was the stock value, and what did you replace it with? This info is needed, unless you just want to revert the switching back to a functioning state.
