Anybody own one? Looking for user reviews. Any info will be helpful. Also is it worth the $300?

I don't know but in case you haven't seen it MF has a B stock for $250 and I bet free shipping right now.

I've used Tascam since they were still Teac and have never had a bad product. I've used from cassette players, 2-track, 4-track to the 16 track and a 32x8 console.

Personally I think these are all a bit overpriced. Maybe not. I know Zoom has one for about $180 I was going to look at but I haven't even gotten to the compare features phase so I'm still not really looking hard. I wish I had more info to pass along but I bet it's a good unit. I only want one because I hate mp3s and since these things will play wav files I could use it in the car to listen to stuff I'm recording.
