Does anyone here use the M13 in the worship environment? I'm currently using a POD XTLive and it has been great running it through my tube rig. However, I like what I've read on the M13 and I like the layout of it. I would love to hear your thoughts on this unit. Thanks!

I'm also looking forward this thing... converting to US dollars, do you wanna know how much is it here in Brazil??

Something around US$980,00. Do I need to say that I HATE living here? Check youtube for some reviews. There aren't ANY REAL good ones though. But I've been asking some of these "reviewers" about specific stuff (noise, delay fading out as you change "preset"...) and I have a pretty decent idea about that now.

Thanks for the info! Wow... that's a chunk of change! They have them new on "EvilBay" for $399 at this time. I'll check the video you sent.

Well, you've seen me in another thread as well. But I'll just reiterate that it's a thing of beauty. No more problems with patch levels, having to have all your sounds preset, etc. Just switch on the effects you want at any given time. The effects are better and more flexible than the Pod series (you can run any 4 effects at once in any order you want), plus they have additional control parameters. If you love the sound of your tube amp and just need an all-in-one solution for your effects, the M13 is it.

Other multi-effects---including the Boss ME-70---seem to confine you to work within its constraints (effects order, expression pedal uses, etc.). The M13 just does whatever you want it to and with the great display system, you can always easily see exactly what it is doing.

The only downside is that you need an external expression pedal. But you can connect up to 2 and you can have them manipulate any combination of parameters you want at the same time. For example, want to turn down delay level and a modulation depth while simultaneously turning up drive on a tube screamer? Yeah, you can do that with one rock of your foot.

Line 6 has been running specials off and on where you can get a free expression pedal by mail-in if you buy the M13, so try to catch that. You just buy the M13, send them a form, then they send you the pedal.

Dead right! Freedom, specially when you are rehearsing with your band, is crucial. "What about if I try this part today with a tremolo?". Using patch/bank/preset configuration is not possible. With a separate pedal or the M13, piece of cake.

Dude, bullseye. I've had tons of multi-effects. ANY multi effects I know are like this. You're stuck with it. "As is". There are some Digitech devices that have a "manual" mode within the presets; I mean, even using presets, you can turn on/off some effects. But you gotta deal with programming a lot of times (I guess it's the RP1000 thing)

The only downside is that you need an external expression pedal.
You don't NEED one. If you want to use full or near to full power of the M13, definetely you need. But if one doesn't want to control the examples you mentioned, no exp. pedal at all. Besides, that TAP dedicated footswitch syncs all the time based stuff to your song (delay time, tremolo/chorus/flanger rate...)[/quote]

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! Is it serious??? I'm following the Line 6 Marketing Guy at Twitter. I'm gonna ask him RIGHT NOW!!!!

And guys, I know this is a more "traditional" forum, but you MUST listen to the Synth sounds from M13. AWESOME, useful and totally funny!

Great info and I appreciate it! I'm definitely pulling the trigger on this when my refund check gets here from my local store. I paid for a Vox AC15 and they could not get it delivered so they are refunding my $$$. I'll keep you posted... thanks!

Oh, good lord. I wish I had this "treatment" here in Brazil. So, it seems you will really get M13. Don't forget to post any comment on that. Good luck!
