Mod a Morley Power Wah Volume...?

I just received a Morley Power Wah Volume pedal (http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Morley-Power-Wah-Volume-Pedal?sku=150788) as a gift, which should be cool, but it isn't. I wanted the plain old Morley Power Wah pedal, without the Volume pedal functionality. I already have a volume pedal I like, I think wah pedals and volume pedals belong on opposite ends of the signal path, and I don't like the fact that the pedal is either in wah mode or volume mode, but never bypassed. I like the Morley Wah sound - it's exactly what I'm looking for, and I like that the wah is engaged by a switch on the side - but the volume pedal half of it is driving me crazy. Can I do anything to the pedal to fix this? There's no user accessible sweep control for the volume, so the sweep of the pedal is from 0 to 10, but I was thinking that maybe I could either adjust the sweep for the volume so that there is minimal difference between full on or off, or maybe just bypass the volume functionality altogether. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.
