Can you put a Will Ray bender on a ASAT tribute bridge? I'm thinking of trading a Gibson Nighthawk for one

If that's the tele style bridge with the 6 individual barrel type saddles, yep. I have one on my asat classic. Just had to file a small notch for the b string. Also if Will sees this he can give you all the info you need or better yet just pm or email him.

If you mean a Hipshot bender, yes you can. I put a Hipshot on my Asat and ran the string through the original string hole. No filing, no drilling. Just use the teflon tube in the string hole, and you're good to go. Lube the saddle and the nut. No problem.

It would help to show a close-up pic of your ASAT bridge, because there are different bridges on the ASAT's. But you can put a Hipshot on just about any G&L or Fender. It's just that some installations are easier than others depending on the bridge involved.
