I thought we should have a Minarik guitar club although i expect it will be a small group.
These are really terrific guitars and if you ever get a chance to play one do it! All of the models are quite unique. Their designs may or may not be your style but, each model is designed with a purpose and all of them play, sound and look terrific IMO.
I actually use my Lotus in place of the Les Paul's i used to have. I only use a LP with P-90's now. That is how well i feel this guitar plays and sounds.
I would love to see the guitar's that members here may have. I know there are a few out there so.........

Heres mine: Minarik Lotus Studio X-Treme in Antique White. #117

Cool look; never seen that brand in the stores.

They are a little hard to come by. Usually sold through smaller dealers and shops.

Here is the link to the manufacturer:

It's fun to see all the unique models and read about the technology behind the designs along with how they use hollowed tone cores etc. in the bodies.
The Lotus (which i have) has extra body material from the top bout around the tail to compensate and add body mass to increase the bottom end.

I sold it and hope to buy another one soon, only this time coil-tapped. The images are of the one I sold. Gorgeous-looking fantastically well-built guitar.

One unusual thing about the fretboard is that it is, as I recall, absolutely and perfectly flat. Played like a dream.

Hey all! It was great to find some fellow Minarik players. I've been an endorsing artist for almost 2 years now and play a Lotus in Dark Cherry Burst. Many of my students have purchased one after hearing and playing mine. These are great, versatile guitars. I use mine in all my instructional videos, performances and while teaching. Looking forward to hearing from all of you. You can see excerpts from my instructional videos using the Lotus on my youtube channel posted below.
