Southern Ill Electrics Pinebody "Plankster"

Hello friends and fellow guitar geeks.

My name is Jeffro' and I'm the Geek here the So.Ill Electrics compound located in the middle of the cows and the corn that is Southern Illinois.
Very small shop......Goal was 5 builds for 2009...those are shipped and sold ans the next 5 are in various stages with a strat and a 1 piece reclaimed barnwood on the bench now. So that is very cool for me and way farther along than I ever dreamed.

Debated for awhile about joining the vendors forum and decided to "Pay up,Sucka" and see what happens.

Anyway, I'll post up new product and "Forsale" items here.

Assembly/parts inventory of a http://guitarsforvets.org/ Plankster has started and as a Desert Strom era vet. myself this is a fun build......thought for a second about Army Green and flat OD Green paint.....but I remember how refreshing it was during Desrt storm when we went to the paint booth and painted our tanks desert tan !!!!
So,I may do a Black gaurd style or even gold sparkle with some pins to get away from those drab flats........I'll post up on that one as progress is made.

Here is a Reverend Roundhouse 290 that I re-did....GFS-P90 and a RSguitarworks pot and cap. job makes it sing for blues and and Overdriven tones. You can have it in either stage get up.

I always try to run the gammit of clean , overdrive and distort-o' tones using my limited hack-o-billy skillz........so jsut think that if it sounds decent in my hands,its gonna be a bunker full of TNT for some one with some actual chops !!!

Man Jeffro, that old chunk of pine is just freakin me out!
Have that black hole at the horn filled with epoxy and then sand smooth with the contours again.
You could even drop a little rhinestone or fake diamond in there while it's still liquid, for kicks man!
That would be just krayzeeee

Maybe some amber colored clear and place a mosquito in there like Jurasic Park.

I haven't slept well since I saw this guitar, that is absolutely stunning in a lustful kinda way :mrgreen:

What make of P90 is that? And is that a Taipan Tone bridge and control plate?
