hello guys,
i spent the whole day yesterday playing and most of the time i just used the ds-1 and and a ch-1, tho on leads, i would stomp on the dd3. after a really long while, i noticed the dd3 was not giving out delay anymore. so i checked it out more closely. the pedal would pass signal on bypass and ON. in the ON mode, the delay sound would come in at about 10 seconds later after turning it on, and it is very weak, almost inaudible, and untweakable.
the pedal power comes from a regulated power supply which powers up 4 or five pedals. i smelled it and opened it up to see if any components were were burned, and there were no smell or burn marks.
the pedal is completely stock, and it was the second time i opened that pedal. the first time was to write my name in marker on the inside backplate.
i hate to lose this pedal since i use it on all my gigs and can't afford a new one.
any ideas about what is wrong? thanks!
