I've got a Gibson Faded SG, a Gibson Faded Flying V, and (even though technically it's not part of the "Faded" line) a Gibson Vintage Mahogany Studio LP.

I did have a Faded LP DC Special and a Faded Explorer, but never really could get 100% comfy with either, even though they both sounded fine--the neck on both is what threw me off.....

I have been searching for a DC Faded in TV Yellow for so very long and have had NO luck. I am ready to pull my hair out. I bought two several years ago when I lived in NY, from the HOG, they ran me (new) $699 each. One was splintered after a show by one of my road crew (he was relieved of his duties shortly afterward) and the other was donated for a good cause. I am now finding myself desperately desiring another to satisfy my need to work on a "project."

Can anyone help me? Even if it is an "empty boat" (stripped of hardware and electronics) - I will be gutting and reloading the piece anyway.

Here are my Korean-made Epi SG's. Inexpensive compared to their Gibson counterparts, but they both turned out to be great guitars for the money and I love playing them.

Here's my Les Paul 100. All Mahogany, 50's wiring, bolt-on neck, skinnier, and has F-spaced hot ceramic pups. I switched them out for aftermarkets after this shot. Set up great, plays well, and sounds good. I don't care if the Epi and Gibson snobs don't like it.

The most versatile guitar I have ever owned and loving the USA 57 Gibson pickups.
