I've got one, and it really is "all that"! It's basically a 1963 AC30, not an amp makers interpertation of an AC30, but an exact copy of the 1963 circuit. Mine has the EF86 and Tremolo.... and the speakers are 30wt Weber Alnico Blue Dogs.

PTP, made in the USA and not too pricey either. The owner, Rob, will let you customize it any way possible (tolex and grill), speakers, options (FX loop, EF86, Tremolo, Reverb)..... All of them have the, bypassable, master volume and 1/2 power switch.

I could go on all day about the Hayseed 30, but the main thing is its worth checking out if you're looking for the AC30 tone, the real thing.

Here's mine

Hey, we got ourselves a club! Way to go jas! :-)

Sorry about the Howard Roberts Fusion in the foreground , but here's mine:

I got the head version in black with the EF86 option on the first channel. I love everything about this amp. Nails the classic Vox chime and gets all sorts of wonderfully creamy overdrive, too. Oh, and the cabinet beneath it holds 2x12 AlNiCo Blues. The sucker gets loud, too! I've played some pretty big clubs with it and kept it on the 15-watt setting with no problem. Very useful master volume, too. And Rob was great throughout the ordering and delivery process.

I hope we get some more members soon. (Not that there's anything wrong with being a very exclusive club... ) ;-) CS

I have owned a 2 x 12 combo for the past couple of years. EF 86 channel, Celestion Blue with a Weber Blue Dog (ceramic).
