CTS 250K's will do the trick nicely for the combo of pickups you have. Angela Instruments, WD, Allparts or your local music store should have em. Enjoy the T-90. It's a killer pickup!

There we go again... "good" and "cheap" in the same sentence. For crying out loud, it's your guitar man! Put a crowbar in your wallet and buy CTS pots, it's not like we're talking a whole stack of money here, they're a few lousy bucks apiece no matter where you buy them.

Here, Warmoth has them for three bucks each, 500k or 250k. They do have a $25 dollar minimum order so they might be out of your league because you'll need to find some other stuff to go with them, "cheap" of course. So maybe Warmoth isn't your place. Stew-mac has them for $2.73 but I don't know what brand they are, but hey, you get to save .27 cents so it might be worth the compromise.

A bit rude, doncha think "otherLance"?

The Warmoth pots are CTS, but they have open backs and hard-to-solder-to brass casings; they're long-necks, too. They're not the Fender-type pots we're used to.

Stew Mac sells import pots, probably Alphas, but definitely not CTS.

WD sells CGE pots.

Allparts sells CTS pots, but then so does my local Fender dealer.

You can also order them -- cheaper than anywhere I've seen them -- from Antique Electronic Supply.

Didn't really mean to be Kevin, the "rudeness" was intended to be sort of "tongue in cheek" since I can't see anyone's difference in price on a $5 item being enough to wait on fixing the guitar.

I was wondering if anyone would recommend true vintage Fender parts but guess not, CTS are already on order.

Kevin,
I ended up getting those long shafted pots from Warmoth when I assembled a rear routed tele. It looked to be about the best, if not only option avalable for rear route, at least without removing some wood in the control cavity and I didn't feel comfy doing that.
Are there any other pots available in a long solid shaft that would work in a rear routed cavity?

CTS makes long-necks with solid backs, but I don't know if they come with solid shafts -- well, they could be ordered that way, but I don't know who carries them.

If you look at the CTS site, you'll see that pots are ordered in "modular" fashion. You pick the resistance, taper, cover, and shaft to suit your needs. Each part has a letter code and, together, these codes create the part number.

I've used the Warmoth CTS pots, and they work fine. My point was that they aren't equivalent to those that Fender uses.

If you need a solid shaft, Allparts sells a sleeve to go over the knurled shaft and make it like a solid shaft.

I you're searching very high grade pots, you may look at Cernet pots. it's really expensive but it's the best sort of pots available.
I personally use selected japanese pots on my guitars, they work very fine.
