This is my favorite live version of Prelude out of all the ones floating out there. I think it surpasses the Death Wish 2 studio track as well.

How spooky is this song? Just the way he looks and the way he plays it...Zeppelin was over and Page was in pretty shape at this time with his heroine use, but that air of mystery that surrounded him just never waivered.

Sorry, but that performance does not inspire me.

Thank you, I didn't want to be the first person to say that . This clip of using a Bender in normal blues licks isn't my idea of good bender playing.

The whole point of a bender is to add " an extra hand" for licks and chords that you couldnt normally play without it.

Wow - sounds a bit like Jeff Beck WITHOUT a Bender!

Wow - For the last 36 years I had the "rules" wrong. All this time I thought the point of having a bender was to make music - incorporating the bender however it works best with in your own style.

Darn. Now I have to start all over and learn "look at me" circus licks.

Thanks for setting me straight on the bender's purpose. I guess my first one was missing the instruction manual.

Looks like someone forgot the cardinal rule of making music....there are no rules.

OK, I missed throwing the words "in my opinion " into that post.

It is of course not a "rule" , but I have been more impressed personally by several other bender users that I've seen.
