P-35 Pickup?

I bought this new pickup that I believe was off an airline tuxedo. E-bay and youtube tell me its called a P-35. Does anyone know anything about them? Like if its just some sort of modified P-90? It only has a black and red wire off of it more like a single coil but its big like a humbucker.

This is abotu all I could find:
