Any players used this setting for worship? I'll be playing in a couple of weeks, and have been looking online for some inspiration for how to interpret this music. It's a subdued setting so seems that fairly simple picking is in order.

Love some input from the more seasoned players who know this.

Anybody have recordings of their playing for this that they can share?

We do the Holden Service every Wednesday. I really like it alot, though as a musician, I'm not really involved. It seems to lend itself to piano, what with the Cantor and all.
I was thinking about this post last night and I thought to myself, if I was playing on this, I'd play my mandolin.

Very pretty music, but a bit ornate for strumming, so I've been working on some complementary picking that won't fight with the keys.

Thought for sure there might be some YouTube performance videos, but haven't found any yet.

Service went really well last night. With the exception of a noticably muffed chord on my part (in a quiet spot, of course), the service went really well. I received some very nice comments about how the guitar enhanced the setting, which was nice to hear.
