Does anyone else have the Wampler Compressor? It is called the EGO Compressor. Let me see if I casn find a link.

There is a video, for some reason, he has a delay in front of it, to enhance it I guess. I'm having trouble getting compression out of it, it sustains fine, but no attack or squish, HELP?? Makes me want a Keeley, the Blend knob is supposed to thicken the notes and the attack dies not seem to do anything.

Actually, the blend knob doesn't thicken the notes, per se, it just blends a clean signal in with the compressed signal in order to give a a more natural attack. However, some like the blend all the off (clockwise) in order to get a more keeley compressor type of tone, as they are both ross compressor type circuits.

In order for the attack knob to do anything, the blend needs to be all the clockwise (which is off). For squish, turn the compression knob up (clockwise). Should be more compression than you would ever need. :)

That's a bit confusing, thought when the blend was clockwise, it was on??

PS_ Could you send me some specific instructions, it does not act like I hope

Brian,
Would this be the right knob turns?

X-Blend, turn left for blend X- Attack- turn right to make attack faster

X -volume, X-Sustain ,

turn right for more volume Turn right for more sustain
