Out of all of my bridge pickups, I've decided that Rio's Tallboy is IT for me.
...But I notice that most places have raised their prices a bit.
Who has the best deals on Rios?
Alternatively, are there any "poor man's" Tallboy equivalents? The pickup seems to be overwound just a touch, but not too much. In comparison, my Nash 5/2 and SD V54's sound a bit thin and hollow, and my HD V54 sounds a bit middy and congested. The Duncans have pretty much the stock wind tones IMO, and the HD is just a touch too hot.
I also dig the staggered poles on the Tallboy as well.
