RECOMMENDATION NEEDED PLEASE: Who can make a bound Seafoam/Nitro Tele body?

Guys & Gals,

I love the look of the guitar pictured below and really want to assemble one like it (but it does not need to be a relic).

I need some recommendations on who can make a nitro finished bound tele body in vintage-correct seafoam. Any ideas??

I've checked with Warmoth and they don't do seafoam. I've checked with Musikraft and they do paint seafoam and use nitro, but don't do binding.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Cheers,

Khan.

I believe USACG (http://www.usacustomguitars.com/) does both binding and seafoam. I don't have any experience with them, but have heard loads of good things about customer service, etc, etc.

Guitar Mill could do it.

I ordered a double bound body from them... it isn't here yet, but pictures on their website are quite nice.

Guitar Mill
USACG
Ron Kirn
Those are the three I would check with.

I don't do paint. Just clear finishes. Me and painting don't get along.

Thanks for the input guys! I'm going with a Guitar Mill body with finishing work by Mark Jenny. Much appreciated!!

You sure about Warmoth? They did a double-bound Seafoam body for SerialSteve a couple of years ago.

I've seen and played it!

They do something they call "surf green"...which looks fairly close to me, but I'm no seafoam expert.

Right. Warmoth does Surf Green, which is more of a mint color. Seafoam is more of a turquoise. The guys at Warmoth told me that sometime this year they might offer Seafoam, but they're still doing their test paint runs to decide.

The Tele on the right (maple neck) is Warmoth's "Seafoam" from a couple years ago. They also offered Surf Green. It isn't exactly Fender-spec, but looked pretty decent!
