Laura Branigan

It always bothered me that someone would take the name of such a classic in vain.

I think "Under the Gun" has to be one of the most used song titles, especially for hard rock/heavy metal. Here's just a few alphabetically by artist and I bet that none of them are the same:

Aldo Nova
Asia
Blondie
Cliff Richard
Danger Danger
Deep Purple
Dokken
Doro Pesch
Foreigner
Gilby Clarke
The Killers
Kiss
Kris Kristofferson
Kristen Hersh
Lita Ford
Molly Hatchet
Motörhead
Poco
Robin Trower
Sisters of Mercy
Supreme Beings of Leisure
Suzy Bogguss
Tin Hat Trio

Still couldn't get it to work for me. Aw well.

And in regards to the title "It's Too Late" there's also the one by Carole King (unless any of the 3 mentioned were covers of it, I dunno).

Tragedy - The Bee Gees
Tragedy - Thomas Wayne (later, The Fleetwoods had a hit with it, too)

You're My Best Friend - Queen
You're My Best Friend - Don Williams

Must mention yet another It's Too Late; Bobby Goldsboro had a hit with it back in the 60s. And there was Wilson Pickett's first hit in the early 60s, also called It's Too Late. (Or was one of the others mentioned earlier a cover?)

And can't forget another song called Gloria, a doo-wop classic done by Vito and the Salutations among others.

Jump - Van Halen
Jump (For My Love) - Pointer Sisters

When the Pointer Sister's song first came out it was called only Jump. My sister had the 45 when it first came out and her label only said Jump. Since the two songs came out so close together the PS added For My Love in parenthesis.
