Tele Mod

Hey guys. I'm selling my MIM Powerhouse Strat to fund my Tele mod. The powerhouse just isn't delivering and I like my Tele better anyway.

Anyway, the options I'm thinking of are:

1. A Brent Mason type mod with a sc in the bridge, a sc in the middle, and a mini-bucker in the neck.

or

2. A Nashville type set up with the tele pickup in the bridge, and sc/strat type pickups in the neck & middle.

I know that Mason is using the SD Vintage Lead stack in the bridge and the Hot Stack in the middle with the separate volume to blend it in.

On another forum it was suggested I put a SD Jerry Donahue pu in the bridge and a SD mini hum in the neck.

Thought? Thanks.

Chris

You could try a sc tele pup in the bridge, strat sc neck pup, wired up to a 4-5 way switch.
Put a humbucker in the middle wired separatly to a volume. Add a coil tap or iirc there's some way to wire a humbucker to go from single to full.
There's way too many pickups to chose from, and other than stock pups, i suggest Bill Lawrence Keystones
