Morley ECV - Echo/Chorus/Vibrato [Archive]

I have an opportunity to pick up a Morley ECV (not the chrome one) and wanted to solicit opinions on these?
Are these 9 volt? Battery hungry like most echoes? Sound good. Please spill your guts before I spend my hard earned cash.
