Shhh...don't tell anyone but I bought a strat!

First strat I've ever owned. A sunburst MIJ 60's re-issue with a rosewood board. Outside of putting a bone nut on it, I'm not gonna change a thing on it. It has the brightest neck pickup I've ever heard. I'll post some pics soon. Please keep this to yourself.

I recently went shopping for a Honey Blonde rosewood board Highway 1 Tele but came home with a MIM 60's Classic Strat in Burgundy Mist.

Go figure :)

And almost every Strat fan I've known has ended up with a Tele in their stable, too. My next gitfiddle's gonna be a Strat...there's a MIM SplatterCaster at my fave local shop (where I got my MIM Std Tele) and it just sings...finally got some gigs comin' up again so I'm hopin I can score it. It sparkles unplugged and sounds heavenly plugged in, can only imagine what a pup upgrade would do for it.

If it's meant to be, she'll be hangin' there waitin' fer me. :D

I know a story about a person who got older and finally one of these days he realized limited skills of his playing. Just a bit later he saw a forbidden LP hanging there in the shop ... "I ' ll just try it"...
Now I have heard he is more interested in few 3 finger hard rock riffs and he is wearing longer strap. Or maybe it is longer just due to weight of The Guitar.
