Hi all,

A few months ago I asked some advice for the color of my next strat assembly. I finally chose vintage white, and it's now finished!

Here are the specs:

- Vintage white body from Rockinger
- CIJ 62 RI neck from stratosphere
- Gotoh tuners
- Callaham vintage strat bridge
- 2 custom 69 fender pickups in neck and middle, taken from my CP60
- Seymour Duncan SSL5 in bridge position
- CTS pots with 250 k no load tone pots, CRL switch

The japanese neck is great, and the custom69 Pups that I didn't like in my CP 60 sound really nice in this one

I usually lean towards olympic white but that is just lovely.
I really like how well the aged plastic goes with the body color. And the dark rosewood...

Thank you all,

It was my first attempt to assemble a guitar from parts, and I'm still surprised of how playable it is...

The next one will be a tele

Wow- very nice indeed!

Did you have an easy time matching the neck to the body? That is one of the main things keeping me from a project like that.

Congrats on a fine job!

I was a bit afraid, too, because of the differnt origin of the neck and body, but it was quite a perfect fit, and no additional work was necessary.

The neck pocket fits perfectly laterally, there is only a small space around the angles of the neck, the neck being "round" and the pocket more "square" (not sure that I'm clear!). Anyhow, it's hidden under the pickguard.
