But a Bandmaster is 21" H x 32" W x 11.5" D and has tilt back legs.

Sounds like a Tremolux cab dressed up in drip-edge clothing.

Wouldn't be a surprise - and it *was* probably sold with a Bandmaster head. My guess is that after the Tremolux was discontinued CBS had some cabs to use up, and simply did the tirmmings to match the SF Bandmaster heads.

Was there a PA column (where are the feet/handle)? Maybe a Leslie/Rhodes extension?

OK..........
i bought the cab in a pawn shop, w/a blackface july '67 showman head that's wired up w/a master volume knob in the rear, between the the ext. speaker output and the vibrato pedal input, the cab's loaded w/2 ev force 12 speakers. I bought the the whole mess together for $325 a couple of days ago.. Both were in almost perfect condition.
This rig sounds like god, is insanely, powerfull, and LOUD, REALLY LOUD!

I thought it might be a tremolux cab, but the cosmetics on the front seem very '69 (grill cloth, logo, aluminum border) and the tremolux was discontinued in '66, seems like a lotta' time between '66 and '69. to have those things lyin' around the factory.

Anybody else have any other ideas on the type of cab?

thanks,

ps. i own many amps, vintage fenders, marshalls, etc. I highly recommend this amp to w/the master volume mod.
IT IS AN AMAZING SETUP, W/earth shaking, paint peeling power ta-boot...
really..............

oh yeah
the handle is on the top, it also has the the screw holes on the top where the amp head could be secured, but no tilt back legs and no screw holes on the side.

Drip-edge trim started in '67. I have a '67 SF Bassman head!
