Lollar Blondesdobrodoc January 22nd, 2009, 02:53 AM I'm working on a parts Strat, and traded a pedal for some Lollar Blondes pickups. Any of you guys ever use 'em? I can't put 'em in just yet, waiting for the new switch. And, should, say, a half roll of solder per lug be good enough for the NEW switch??? Seriously, though, what about the Blondes? Using that much will alter the body weight of your guitar and change the sound a lot. I need more...oomph...they were just too anemic for my tastes. I prefer the Fender CS 54s, or Duncan Alnico 2's.
