Listening to a demo recording for the Sparkle Drive distortion pedal (http://www.voodoolab.com/audio/SparkleDrive_TexanStyle.mp3), this variation on a common shuffle pattern caught my ear. There's an extra note inserted in there that changes the whole character of the thing, especially when you're playing with some crunch and muting the strings. Here's a Powertab (http://www.savefile.com/files/1941978) I made of it.

C'mon, Lerb...jog your memory. lol SRV's take on this type of thing, which he did not invent anyway....I been hearing shuffles of this type for over 5 decades now..., was just a little bit more laid back. THis Blues Saraceno cut is a bit more agressive rhythmically speaking.
