Strat62

I just re-necked my 62 Strat with a SRO-62 unfinished neck. I masked off the rosewood and frets and finished the neck in poly, which turned out great. The fingerboard, however seems and looks dry. No problems playing it at all, but is there a finish, wax, oil or polish I should be using to "richen up" the looks and feel of it?

I use Mineral Oil. You can get it in the drug store for $.99 for a bottle that will last for years. Just apply and let soak for awhile and then wipe off what's left.

I use Fret Doctor on my rosewood fretboards now. It is pretty pricey, but a little goes a very long way and it made my rosewood look and feel beautiful. I like the smell of it too.

I've started using peanut oil. Works well.
