Dead Pickup [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

Help! I was swapping out my bridge pu to try a new one out. When I went to swap the old one back in, its now dead. I put the ohm meter to it and nada. Does anyone have any idea what happened? TIA

<li>For me at least, breaking these very fine wires is watt usually happins.
<li>If yew by sum slim chance soldered at the eylets on the P/U rather than at the end of the leads in the control panel yew melted the ends of those liddo tiny wires.
Double check yer meter and yes yew kin repair those wires but its the most difficult thang tew dew when solderin onna TELECASTER.
