Tweed Deluxe vs. Swart AST vs. Champ

I like tweed sounds, but need it to be low-powered, 5-15 watts.

I've played a deluxe and liked it, several people make good versions.

I haven't played a Swart, but wondered how others liked it, whether it sounds tweedy or like something else, etc.

As for the Champ, I could probably get by with 5 watts, but I need at least a 10" or 12" speaker (the smaller ones sound small to me), and for some reason, even the bigger-speaker'd champs that I've heard don't sound as good as deluxes, etc, less wide frequency range maybe.

The Swart AST is like 20 watts. If you need low-power & 10"-12" speaker, you should be looking at the STR, or even better- the STR TWEED (newest model, has a gain switch).

I love the way my modded Champ 600 sounds through a 1x12".

You hear it here: http://media.putfile.com/Head-solo-P-90Mod-Champ

Mods are just R19 and R7 (if I remember correctly) out of the circuit. Guitar is a SX LP Jr. w/ P-90's. No pedals.
