I think the newer AC30 hand wired amps sound better and the older AC30's sound better and even the re-issue (80s and 90s) sound better than the CC, but maybe I just had a not so good sounding CC? Mike Dickerson November 11th, 2008, 01:17 PM In my opinion unless you cut that awful bright cap out of the cc, it doesnt sound very good. Once you do that and break in the speakers it gets pretty good. I have a cc and a Korg Reissue. The cc has become my favorite. If I set them up behind a curtain so you could not see which was which, plugged my tele into each one and had you play and try to pick which was which you would have a very hard time. I actually did just that with the other guitar player in my band just for laughs. Even with a 50 / 50 chance he picked the newer AC30cc as the better sounding amp. by the way this guy plays through a Dr. Z Stangray so he knows good tone. dobrodoc November 12th, 2008, 03:36 PM Just how many pedals is Jorgensen running? |
