hi guys, i just saw the man last night and was blown away by the sheer power of his picking. he had a steel fingerpick taped to his finger, that´s why he never lost it and could strum like a madman. i tried it out today and it works like a charm. and looks wicked.

A great blues harp-player buddy of mine knew him, so we'd go sit right in front of the stage at gigs. REALLY nice guy too. Just BLOWS away the venue! Even back then.

That is intense. Thanks for posting the photo the Sardinas tape job. Truly incredible and exactly the information I was looking for. But I have one more question: How does he keep the thumb pick on?
