the pick ups in my STAGG jazzmaster/strat electonics sound better than USA standards?

so im playing this guitar through my vox and my marshall half stack with distortion and clean and dirty and it sounds just as good as my MIM with MIA pups. the STAGG has cheaper strings on it im sure... the action is about the same on both..

so i A/B'd it agaist my usa strat with laces...tones were VERY similar... USA neck is quite a bit better obviously but im not finding a MAJOR tone difference.. i think the laces a less noisy for sure- and have some subtlties that are a little nicer--- BUT these sound decent... and some ofthat tone could be the strings and fret dressing differences..... soo--------- what does one do? have the frets dressed and leave it? ??? i kinda wanted to put soap bars in it- but this guitar really is damn nice for what they cost... seriously.... im really starting to wonder about a lot of things....

so shouldi try swapping the USA pick ups? or get soaps with a single coil in between? get laces and make it supernice?

and the finish on this thing is to die for.... WHAT LUCK!!!!>>!!!!
