Lace Huntington Opinions

Looking at a Lace Huntington strat, trans red at a local shop. Price is less than 2 bills and appears to be an ash body juding by the grain. HSS config with of course the Lace pups. Plays excellant and is about 7lbs in weight maybe a bit more than that but not much. I have to tell ya it played and sounded excellant from what I did with it. Anyone have one, as I haven't really ever heard of the guitars outside of the pups being stellar. thanks

PS just did a google real quick and the bodies are solid alder from what one of the blurbs say
