Tele two single coil, 4 way switch, VanZandts with bidge bass plate.

neck pu W & B wired to switch
bridge W wired to switch black to pot
This sound fine, but the middle out of phase

reversed neck wires, everything is fine, middle sounds great.. But but major noise in the neck pu

switched bridge wires bridge nasal

seems switching the neck wires is the way to go.. Tried grounding the neck with wire to bridge plate.. with no luck..

any suggestion?
Thanks

Does your neck pickup have only two leads; that is, no seperate ground wire for the cover? If so, you must modify the pickup to provide one. The cover has to be grounded all the time, yet the ground for the coil has to be lifted, so that it can be used in the series position. Look on the bottom side of the neck pickup, and you will see a little wire that connects the tab of the cover to the ground wire. Snip this little wire so that the cover's tab is not connected to the coil ground wire. Now, connect a brand new wire to the cover's tab. This wire must be connected to ground. The other two leads from the neck pickup can then be connected to the switch so that the middle position is in phase.
