I recently purchased a Twin Reverb off of e-bay. When it arrived the reverb didn't work and as I turned it up the more buzz I got. I checked all the plugs to make sure they were secure and then opening up the reverb tank I saw one spring unattached. Well... On one end of the spring it has a hook and on the other it has a hook but it looks like something is attached to it. How do I reattach the spring? did something break off from inside the cavity where the spring attaches? Let me know. Thanks!

The guys aren't used to dealing with Twin Reverbs that have 'plugs' in them.
What kind of motor does it have anyhow?
I suggest you show us a pic of your tank so we can see your problem

Yes, there's another piece that goes into the transducer, kind of like the eye of a needle. It probably fell out. I've seen people repair them using a needle, but unless you're good with working under a magnifier--steady hands and patience, I'd suggest getting a new tank. They're not expensive.
