Than putting spanking new strings on your acoustic to make you feel good. And fight off G.A.S. Always, without fail, makes you immediately appreciate why you feel in love with your guitar in the first place.

I'm taking both newly strung Seagulls to the show tonight!

Certainly one of the simple joys......especially on acoustics. 30 years ago, I used to get D'Angelico strings from the store I managed. They were just beautiful sounding strings, but went dead very fast. Still, that tone from a fresh set was glorious.

I put a fresh set of EB Earthwoods on my little Seagull S6 Folk last night. Man, does that little sucker sound nice. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go play it right now before the day gets started!

For me it was going from light to medium guage strings. Lordy what a difference such a small change made.
