Does anybody out there have first-hand experience with the Trem King tremolo unit? I am considering one for my 08 American Standard because I really like the idea of maintaining intonation during use, but am a little worried about (a) the extra routing necessary for installation and (b) possibly limited tremolo effect compared to the stock trem unit.
Anybody our there have a first-hand review of this product?

Hmm, everything I'm reading says that there's some extra routing for installation in the Strat. Not a deal breaker, but I'm hoping to get some first-hand feedback before I let someone open up my Strat.

Already did before I posted this. Didn't find much useful under "Trem King".

I played them at NAMM - they work; they look a little funky, but they definitely work. Very smooth action/feel.

I found it. Had to go back 6 pages.

COOL! Thank you! I just did ANOTHER search with the words "Trem King" and again did not find your post--even though those key words are in your first sentence. (Makes me think the search function doesn't search very well.)
That's a good little read. Thanks again.
