Outboard 3 band EQ?

I picked up a cool soundhole pickup when it was the Stupid Deal of the Day. Now I'm wondering if there are multi-band EQ outboard units available that I could plug into. Anyone know? Seems like it would be a cool thing to be able to tweak the output tone like you can on guitars with built-in units.

The LR Baggs acoustic DI comes to mind. It's got a 4-band EQ with an adjustable mid frequency plus an adjustable notch EQ (with 4 different frequencies for that). On top of that, it makes your direct signal sound a heck of a lot better, even with flat EQs.

Thanks for the lead! Looks like LR Baggs has a couple of different items that would do what I want.

Is the soundhole pickup passive (no batteries)?

If so, the K&K Pure Preamp is fantasic... $85 - $90 everywhere.

I have K&K Pure Western (passive) pickups in two Martins and I love the Pure Preamp.

Thanks for the recommendation. When the time comes I might try that.

Of course, it might be better to come up with an occasion when I might need to actually amplify my acoustic ;-)
