Just noticed we didn't have one. We could also use a accordion, harmonica, fiddle, mandolin, and pedal steel forum.  Nah, I just wondered what you guys thought about it. It would be nice to discuss drums from a tele player's perspective.

Go, DISCUSS!!!

It would be cool for each member of the band to be able to share the TDPRI that's for sure .

The drummers would go into it, and not be able to get back out. Ouch! Zing!

How do you know when a guitar player is trying to get INTO the studio?
He shows up late, and with the wrong key.

How do you know it's a singer trying to get in?
You open the door for them and they still don't know when to come in.

How do you get a drummer off of your front porch?
You pay for the pizza.

What do you call a bass player that just broke up with his girlfriend?
Homeless.

I play drums but I'm not as good as I'd like to be. Any experiences and tips that others can share would be appreciated, and if I can share my limited knowledge that would be great too.

I've got lots of forums and things on my list, but not a drum forum.

I vote a big YES for a drum forum.

Why bass and no drums?

Thats instrumentism*.

Alot of us tele players are multi-instrumentalists. So why not have the three main bases covered (guitar, bass, drums)? Already 2/3 of the way there, might as well.

I know my opinion doesnt count for much because i'm a recently joined member... But there it is anyway.

Cheers!

Chris.

You'll note that all of the instrument forums here are GUITAR-related. Telecasters, Stratocasters, acoustic guitars, bass guitars. We don't go far from there, no other stringed instruments, no fiddle forum, mando forum, banjo forum. Nothing for accordion or bagpipe.

Not that I have anything against any of those, or drums, but this place is already pretty complicated!

Cheers, Tim

An accordion forum would be cool.............I have lots of jokes---

What's the difference between a trampoline and an accordion?
You take off your shoes to jump on a trampoline.
