Hi -
Does anyone know if there was a '60s Strat or reissue that featured a BLACK nut on a rosewood board? I was in a store the other day, and the guy couldn't tell me what year it was (few decals), but it had the spaghetti Logo and 'Stratocaster', no serial on the neck plate. I'm guessing the nut could be a replacement, but I don't know if Fender ever produced Black nuts on the Strat or not.
