I was minding my own business, surfing the net the other day when I noticed this:

Well, 360 bucks for an all-solid guitar that gets very good reviews tempted me more than I could resist--I'm weak and I admit it... I don't currently have an all-solid Dreadnought and I'm hoping this will allow me to move my current Dread to my "vacation house".

I'll post a review after I've had it for a week or two.

I tried out one of those last night at GC. Very nice. It held its own against $2k Martins and Taylors. It's a tremendous guitar for the money.

No pics yet, but some this weekend. I've been playing this guitar for a while and it sounds completely terrific--great string to string separation and really thumping bass (like a Dreadnought should have).

The action on the sample I got, though, is WAY high. It's off to the friendly neighborhood guitar tech tomorrow for a setup.

By the way, the reason mine was a refub/factory second appears to be some mottling in the finish around the bridge that you can see in the right light. Other than that, I can't find a fault with this guitar.

A real winner, especially at $360.

(NOTE: I've only had it a day and my evalution is subject to change without notice...)
