YCV40 or YCV40WRmartyb1 July 1st, 2008, 12:15 AM Well I finally got my tax return money.I have been looking at a Traynor YCV40.Should I go with the reg YCV40 or should I spend the little extra and go for the YCV40WR? I know the WR comes with the vintage 30 speaker and Wine Red leathertte finish> So which one? tele_jas July 1st, 2008, 12:52 AM Speakers make a huge difference in sound, more-so than any other change.....go with the better speaker IMO. candh July 2nd, 2008, 12:40 AM I have the wr and since I didn't like the V30 and changed it out...I would just go with the regular one. Budget in a complete tube swap, too. Cassady July 2nd, 2008, 12:45 AM I'd go with the standard YCV20. I have the YCV20WR and didn't particularly care for the V30. I currently have a Jensen Neo in the amp and it sounds just great. You'd probably come in about the same price for th YCV20 and the Neo as you would for the YCV20WR.
