Acoustic Storage Question

I'm planning on taking my Washburn D29S to a house that I stay at several times a year and leaving it there. The guitar has a laminated back and sides, but a solid top.

The house will be minimally heated during the Winter and, except when I'm staying there, not air-conditioned during the summer. This means temperatures ranging from the mid-50's to mid-90's and only minimal opportunities to put a humidifier in the case.

The guitar will be in a hard case in a closet away from exterior walls, but I'm still concerned about it developing problems from the less than ideal storage.

I think that the temperature changes will be gradual enough that they shouldn't present a problem, but the low Winter humidity worries me. I likely won't be able to put water in my case humidifier between late November and April. It's DRY inside in Nebraska during the winter, but I hope that the lower temperatures inside will mean that it's a bit less dry than if the house were kept in the mid-60s or warmer.

Is there anything that I can to to prevent or lessen the damage from storage conditions like this? I've thought about an all laminated guitar, but I've decided that it's the Washburn that's going to make the trip and I'd like to be as kind to it as I'm able.

TIA
