Wanda Jackson ( Bender Content )

I did two shows with Wanda while she was here in Perth. She still draws a big crowd and did a great show. My buddy did the rockabilly stuff and I played the country/gospel material. At rehersal, she stopped a song and said.." who's playing steel ? " All I can say is a big thankyou to Wanda and Hipshot; Had a few benders over the years but still keep using these. Bless her, a real trooper.

i used to have fantasies over wanda when i was younger, still love her early albums. hope it was a great show.

yep, john...wish i coulda been there to see the show, am sure it was great..!!!!....i've heard your "steel" licks with the Hipshot in person, so i know Wanda was impressed....like you, i have several bender weapons in my arsenal, but i keep on using the lowly Hipshot...just works better for the "sound" i want from bending...
