which tube preamp for peavey classic 30?

I have a classic 30 and I'm lookin for a preamp that could warm the tone of my amp up. I don't like but a tad of distortion(I play country and Gospel, and I like a blusey sound. I've heard of the seymore duncan twin tube, tube works blue tube(which ain't made anymore). I also heard the Baggs para acoustic DI, which I don't think has a tube in it, but I've heard it's good for acoustic, and electric guitars.
Which preamp would ya'll suggest, that could give my classic 30 more body, fullnes, and warmth? The twin tube is really more than I can afford right now, is there a preamp around $100 to $150 that would get me close to where I want to be? Thanks for your help

I think if you spent the dough on a speaker swap and maybe a NOS 12AX7 for V1 you can get it closer to what you want. I'm not a big NOS guy but a few guys over on the Peavey Amp board have some suggestions.

I have a Classic 20 that I like the tone better with a 12AT7 in the V1 spot. It seems to smooth the gain some, also rolling your guitar volume back to 7 or so tames the gain and knocks off some highs,in esence warming things up.

I have a C30 too. And as already mentioned, a speaker swap would probably be better. My C30 was originally very bright. I could even say it can get "ice picky". First I tried changing tubes and it did change the character but still wasn't warm enough. I replaced my speaker with a Weber Ceramic Blue Dog and that was it. Best investment I made on this amp. No more ice-picky and bright sound.

What about any of these?

Thanks a lot guys for the suggestions. I had really rather try a preamp right now, rather than change speakers/tubes. I may try one of the art tube preamps, or find a used seymore Duncan twin tube. Thanks again

Check out the Radial Tonebones. I've been using the Classic version for 3 years now. It's my go to dirt pedal.
