I've scanned through the postings and read some in detail but didn't see an answer.

I know there are books of jazz music called Real Books or Fake Books. Is there something similar for blues?

or...

Can someone suggest some blues "standards" that someone (me) could work on learning.

Mikes Guitars has a whole section of blues songs.
Pick and choose and have fun with it.
If you don't have Powertab you can download it from Mikes guitar site as well.

I'm not familliar with any Blues fake books.

Oughta keep you busy for a few daze, anyway. ;-) Seriously, you don't need a book to learn the blues, you just need a guitar, one pair of ears, one pair of hands and the desire. Have at it, and have fun. :-) CS
