Carvin Cobalt

I just noticed that Carvin has Cobalt acoustics marked down to $299. You will not find a better guitar for this price. I paid $349 for mine and am having a hard time not buying another one at this price. With hsc and shipping, it's still under $400.

I did a lot of shopping around, and would say the Cobalts sound and play comparable to most $600 to $800 acoustics.

I agree! I love my C350(here's the Carvin site (http://www.carvinguitars.com/products/group.php?cid=75)). No affiliation, by the way. Great sounding, inexpensive guitars. If you're ever in SoCal you HAVE to check out their showroom.

Anybody got a Cobalt 850? I tried one once and loved it. I've been thinking about one ever since.

-While I've never owned one, my Brother-in-law had a C750T. Very nice guitar for not too many $$$. I played it quite a bit and the neck was great as was the action and tone. I still can't quite figure out why Carvin doesn't get more credit than they do. The only thing I can guess at is that unless you're in California, you're left with mail order.
