I was watching GAC or one of the Digital Country stations the other night and came across a live concert from the Ryman Auditorium featuring Waylon Jennings. I noticed Reggie Young on lead guitar playing a bender instrument. I'd never seen or heard of him using one before that. Has he recorded anything with the guitar?
I've always loved his studio work such as "Drift Away" by Dobie Gray and "That's The Way Love Goes" my Merle Haggard which has one of the tastiest guitar solos I've ever heard.
Also, if anyone else has seen this concert, did you notice the female fiddle player who played the fiddle positioned like a cello? She was pretty hot but that was a strange way to play a violin. I'd only seen one played like that before and that was by a dwarf male in North Carolina years ago who did it because him arms were too short to hold it the regular way.....JH in Va.
